Sunglasses for 'everyday-humans'...

Based in Sydney, Australia, Isson Eyewear was founded in 2002 and stocked exclusively by independent optical boutiques. By 2010, Isson was exported to more than 25 countries, with its strongest fan base in the USA and France.

On occasion, Isson's designer, Catherine Federici, custom-made sunglasses for clients such as John Galliano and friends, and while it was fun spotting celebrities wearing Isson sunglasses, nothing beat walking past an 'everyday-human' struttin' their stuff in a pair. 

As many know, we decided it was time for a break in 2017.... and it's been great, but now we're back to run things differently. We've moved to a e-commerce model, preferring to deal direct with our customers, instead of returning to distribution via bricks & mortar. As a result, we are able to drastically reduce our operating expenses and retail price and offer FREE shipping anywhere in the world!

We have a small network of independent optical boutiques that we continue to work with based in Beverly Hills, CA (USA), Breda (The Netherlands), Venice (Italy), Paris (France), London (UK) and Paddington (Sydney, Australia). Dealing with Isson Eyewear via one of these optical boutiques is possible, but comes with a service charge and needs to be arranged with us.

Our ethos is to continue making high quality, slightly quirky and enduring sunglasses, unrestrained by 'fashion trends'.... a reflection of the everyday humans that wear Isson.
